Role Summary
As a Senior Accountant at Edenred, you will manage key accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and treasury. Your responsibilities include reconciling financial discrepancies, preparing monthly reconciliations and trial balance analyses, and supporting the month-end closing process. You will also produce specialized financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal controls and state regulations while participating in audit activities.

Responsibilities:
- Managing accounting activities – accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, treasury
- Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Preparing monthly reconciliation, trial balance analysis
- Supporting the monthly closing process
- Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Participating in the reconciliation of auxiliary accounting data with financial accounting data
- Offering support and participating in audit activities, controls of state authorities etc.
- Participating in optimization and automation processes within the finance area

Knowledge and Skills:
- You are graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting/finance according to the Romanian legislation
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar position
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work across departmental boundaries to resolve issues
- Takes initiative and demonstrates a broader perspective when solving problems
- Very good planning, organizing, and presentation skills
- Other skills required : Project Management, MS Office proficiency
- Team player, proactivity, empathy, eagerness to learn
- English/French skills (min B1 level)
