Tourism units
Classified tourist reception structures and/or licensed tourism agencies
Partners that may accept vacation voucherss as a payment method are, mandatorily, holders of a classification certificate or of a tourism license issued by the Ministry of Tourism.
Units that want to affiliate themselves to the vacation vouchers system must comply with several rules:
having a Tourism License or Classification Certificate valid on the conclusion date of the affiliation contract
accepting vacation vouchers only for the payment of the tourism services provided by the rules for the application of Emergency Ordinance No. 8/2009
accepting payment with vacation vouchers made only by vouchers' holder.
Only those classified tourist reception structures and/or licensed tourism agencies concluding an affiliation contract with the authorized issuers of the vacation vouchers.
The tourist services package that can be purchased on the basis of the vacation vouchers can include public food services, transport services, balneary treatment services and compulsorily contains accommodation services.
In case the above rules are not observed, the Emergency Ordinance provides penalties related to contraventions.
